We are growing as companies and organisations are increasing their investments on customer experience amidst the pandemic.
Working around the globe for companies like Hyundai, PepsiCO, Vodafone, TallinkSilja, Helsinki Region Transport and Yara, we have added new talent to both design and commercial teams. In Finland, new Hellonians are: Commercial Director Henri Kingo and Business Development Director Miikka Vartiainen, Service Designers Emma Hertzberg and Lotta Salminen and Katariina Helin and Eerika Minkkinen as new trainees. The UK team has grown by Commercial Director Paul Turp, Account Director & Customer Experience Strategist Harumi Kita, Project Manager Sejal Datta and by Cameron Suckling as a trainee. Currently employing a staff of over 40, we are looking to recruit around 10 more people this year.
“Studies show that companies who understand that customer experience design is a top-management issue have outperformed their competitors in most financial metrics. At Hellon we’ve experienced an increased participation of top management in our projects. Overall, demand for strategic customer experience is on the rise: our orders are up 40,6% from last January. After the initial COVID shock, we were able to increase sales and outperform our pre-COVID numbers in the latter part of the year. When looking at the entire year, Hellon’s revenue and profitability for 2020 are on par with 2019*, ” said Jaakko Wäänänen, founder and CEO of Hellon.
Henri Kingo, the new Commercial Director in Finland, has a background in management consulting and the marketing industry having worked at Accenture, WPP and Omnicom.
“Can’t think of a better place than #1 agency in the field, Hellon, to help create customer experiences that make a difference. At Hellon we help our customers marry design, business and strategy. I look forward to being part of transforming companies so that customer value is the driver for future business.”
Paul Turp, Hellon’s new Commercial Director in the UK, is a seasoned professional with 25 years of sales experience. He’s worked at British design innovation consultancies such as cxpartners, Nomensa and most recently Manifesto.
“Besides being globally the most awarded agency in its field, what attracted me to Hellon is the human-centric approach with everything we do. The human is at the center, whether we’re helping to shape the future of banking, defining new services for a telecom company or helping a car manufacturer offer exceptional customer experience in all touchpoints. The second thing that makes Hellon unique is combining design thinking with AI and data science. This brings new insight into the creative work of designers.”
